In this app you can create you own books- whether is pictures, text, or however else you want to lay out your book. The app allows interactive features like adding sound, animations, and other visual effects. Once you finish your book, you can publish it (for a fee) to the app store or send it to be printed from their print shop! The books can be shared to other devices that have the app downloaded for free.

This app allows you access to over 23,000 classic texts. The app works similar to iBooks- you can highlight, add notes, and bookmark pages. The books are really clear and easy to read. Some of the books are offered as free audio books too!

This app offers pretty high resolution historical maps from around the world. It is really easy to browse through the maps and they have a search feature within the map! The maps are organized by category and by era and each map is labeled with location, era, and dates. Very user friendly and the creators of the app offer more map apps for just the US, Europe, Africa and more countries!

After you sign up for a free diigo account, you can add and organize your bookmarks through this app. Diigo is a really powerful tool that lets you tag your bookmarks with keywords and search through other peoples tagged bookmarks. Diigo also lets you join groups where you can collaborate with other group members by adding relevant bookmarks and also commenting/discussing the websites.
